Who:

Anyone responsible for Information Technology in a ministry setting ... Business Admins, IT Directors, Network Admins, Helpdesk, staff or volunteers ... regardless of church/organization size.  We anticipate over 80 registrations this year!  We have over 50 registrations to date.

*spouses are encouraged to come along as well and hang out with the other spouses during the day 

What:

The Church IT RoundTable was born in Fall of 2006.  Since then, over 500 church staff and volunteers have been involved with CITRT in one way or another and we look forward to watching how God continues to expand our community.

To meet other IT staff and volunteers

• Encouragement - "I am not alone." "Here I am understood."
• Confidence - "I'm not so crazy after all."
• Relationship - Develop on-going friendships

To advance the diffusion of innovation in a given topic area

• Sharing knowledge, lessons learned, and experiences
• Sorting out the big picture. How does it all fit? Where are we going?
• Synergy of new ideas, new perspectives, and new dreams

To facilitate collaboration

• Explore opportunities for teaming up to accomplish common goals
• "Network" - Learn who knows what and who is doing what

 A roundtable is a peer-learning event where the participants are both teachers and learners. A roundtable is:

• Small enough to emphasize interactive learning
• Led by a facilitator and peer
• Includes participants who have an affinity with each other
• PAST Roundtable discussion topics

When: 

February 23 - optional
Morning - Start the day with a tour of NorthLand Church in Orlando, Florida. 
Afternoon - Enjoy an awesome tour at the Kennedy Space Center (extra cost - Tickets are FREE with your registration! currently $41.00, but we are working on discount tickets). 
6:00pm -  Hang out and experience a mid-week service at CCM.  Enjoy the worship and teaching, or take the opportunity to get behind the scenes views of how we run a service. 
7:30ish - Come and enjoy dinner prepared by the CCM BBQ Ministry.

February 24 - Event Day 1 - 9am til late - Campus Tour in the late afternoon followed by dinner then worship time. NOTE: There will also be a special separate lunch event for spouses Thursday. NOTE2: The shuttle Discovery is currently scheduled to launch on this date at 4:45pm. If this time doesn't change we WILL run an alternate event schedule which includes driving over to the coast and a bit North to get an even better view of the launch than at the church.

February 25 - Event Day 2 - 9am til 3pm - We'll prob have some informal dinner this night as well.

How much:

We're doing everything possible to keep CITRT events as low cost as possible.

Registration is ONLY $75 ... AND includes dinner February 23/24, lunch February 24/25 and of course snacks and COFFEE.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities Vendor Sponsorship Encouraged - To help offset costs we'd love to have your organization help sponsor this event.  We have 2 suggested sponsorship levels of $1000 and $250. 

Hotels

We have an arrangement at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott for $89 / night which includes a free continental breakfast.  Rooms at this rate are limited.  This hotel is only 5 minutes from the church.

Other Hotels are nearby.  Those of you wishing to state beachside can check the Double Tree hotel.  The double tree is 15 minutes from the church, but if staying on the beach is your thing, then it's available.

Airports

You have two options on Airports.  Melbourne International Airport (MLB) is only 5-10 minutes from Calvary Chapel but is considered a regional airport.  The closest main airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO)
